1. The only data this site stores to your browser is a single value that saves your theme selection.
2. The only data about you we store on our end is:

• Your IP address
• The date and time of your first visit to our site
• The date and time of your most recent visit to our site
• Anything you include on the Contact form when clicking the Submit button

This website uses as little JavaScript as possible to allow for maximum performance and device/browser compatibility. Read more about that here.
The only uses of JavaScript on this site are for:

• Saving and Loading your theme preference site-wide.
• Flavor text on the Home page.
• Auto-filling the "Reason for Contacting" box and preventing form reloading on the Contact form.
• An Easter Egg on the Projects page. (See if you can find it!)

I love meeting in person and almost always prefer face-to-face interaction over virtual meetings.
Just to keep both you and me safe and respected, I've outlined a few of my policies and practices around meeting in-person:

• I would love to meet you and/or your representatives at either public places (such as restaurnats, coffee shops, public parks, etc) or your place of business (an office, co-working space, etc), but I draw the line at private residences or spaces you aren't authorized to use.
• I am happy to cover my transportation costs within reasonable range of Boston. While I love travel, if you want me to come to you outside Boston, I ask that you please cover my travel costs and give me advanced notice.
• I will work to accomodate any reasonable requests you may have, so feel free to ask at any time!

Note: I typically record the audio of my meetings with clients, as it allows me to review our conversation and make sure I catch all of the requirements, questions, and other inquiries you make so I can provide the best possible outcome from our engagement.
Here are a few things to note about my recording policy:

• You are able to opt out of recording at any time or request only parts of the meeting be recorded.
• You are able to request deletion of the recording(s) at any time during or after the meeting(s).
• I never upload the audio files to a 3rd party service. Regardless of whether we've signed an NDA, I never upload any recordings to any 3rd party service because I value your privacy and trade secrets; and I do not trust 3rd parties with sensitive information.
• I only use the audio files to assist my direct work for you. By default, the only ways in which I use the recordings I make at our meetings is to ensure I caught all of your requests and that my notes match what we discussed. If there is ever a situation where a quote or topic from our discussion would benefit research I am conducting outside the context of our engagement, I will ask your explicit consent before using it and will gladly anonymize it if requested.

If you are ever uncomfortable with any part of the recording process, please feel free to request whatever will make you most comfortable. Open, honest, and direct communication almost always makes engagements go better, and requesting that I change how I am recording or how I use the recording is no exclusion.
